 Sunday, January 10, 2010, Word of Life family, along with friends and special guests, celebrated our 29 years of service to the Lord. Pastor David brought in guest speakers; Kevin & Anne Durant from Birmingham, Alabama. The Durants have been in ministry for 28 years and 11 of those years were spent traveling with Kenneth Hagin’s ministry.
Sunday morning at the 9 a.m. service Anne Durant ministered in song accompanied by her husband, Kevin on the trumpet. After that she ministered in word about growing in the love of God. Her message stirred the heart and shed new light on some familiar passages. The time passed much too quickly. At the 9 a.m. service there was a prophetic word given that was right in tune with the message. We had two men receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and one lady rededicate her life to Jesus. We also had three children receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
 Sunday evening we came together once again to hear from God through the Durants. Anne called down the glory of God with an awesome song about the Names of Jesus. The atmosphere was thick with the anointed presence of God.
The Holy Spirit had us right where he wanted us when Kevin got up to speak. The house was filled with expectancy. With much humor God let us know that He expected more from us this year. After all the praying we have been doing He let us know that all there was left to do was SHOUT!
God wants us rejoicing and thanking Him for what we have already received even if the manifestation of it hasn’t come yet. We are to get it down in our spirit and see it as if it had already manifested. It isn’t enough to know it…you must see it as yours. You must see yourself with it…possessing it. We must see our church filled to overflowing, spilling out the doors.
 We have an amazing opportunity to get behind our shepherd, Pastor David, to sit at his feet, to follow him, to imitate him, as he follows Christ. We must desire to get in the glory that surrounds him as he leads us to the next level.
Our evening ended with a word of prophecy for our Pastors David and Sharon and for our church. If you were unable to attend you need to get the CDs of each service. It was powerful.
