 It would be a school assembly like no other they had witnessed before. Hundreds of children, elementary through high school, filed into auditoriums and gymnasiums in the Sand Springs, Tulsa, and Oilton areas as Pastor Smiley’s Lifepower Strength Team prayed backstage in preparation to wow the kids with amazing feats of strength.
Ken “Zach” Zachary, former Sapulpa High School football star and NFL standout for the San Diego Chargers and Green Bay Packers, shredded a giant telephone book with his bare hands. Then Jim “Jimbo” Griffin, Oklahoma Bench Press Champion, tenaciously rolled up a large frying pan with his hands into what looked like a giant burrito. Keith “Kebo” Morris, crushed whole diet sprite sodas with his massive hands spraying soda all over the heads of screaming children. Pastor Smiley, professional natural bodybuilder and Mr. Natural Oklahoma, lifted a steel bar over his head with two wide-eyed young ladies hanging on.
 Although all of this action kept the attention of each child, the greatest feat of strength was the Life Power message of focusing ahead, understanding they’re special; and never, ever giving up in life! After the very first day, Word of Life Church and the Lifepower Team began to receive phone calls and text messages saying, “Thank you…the kids really enjoyed it!”
