Jesus had one primary tool that He used over and over again. It’s what brought Him to earth as a human. It’s what took Him from town to town seeking those who were hurting and forgotten. It’s what made time for children and the elderly. It’s what fed the hungry and gave living water. It put the stripes on His back. It put the spear in His side. It nailed His body to a rough, splintered cross. It’s what brought Him back to life so that He could give us eternal life. He used it because it is the driving force behind all that is good. He used it because it’s what He is...love.

The Church was intended to finish what Jesus started in the earth: Meeting the needs of people and bringing them back to right standing and relationship with God.

Jesus never expected people to automatically come to where He was for spiritual things. He went to them seeking to meet their physical needs knowing that His love would draw them to repentance. Walls Optional exists to go find needs and meet them because that’s what He would do.
