Our Walls Optional 5th Sunday project for January was titled "Not tonight." It had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather and will now take place on February 27th at 10am, immediately following the Day of Blessing. If you are able to do so, we encourage you to participate in both outreaches that day. There are two seperate sign up lists at the church so please sign up for the one(s) you will be participating in. Thanks for your service and heart for people.

6:00 Start Cooking
7:00 to 7:30 Prayer - Auditorium
7:30 Begin setup
8:00 Buses and van leave for ministry pick-up. Greeters lined up at door, up stairs, hallway, dining hall.
Give direction to dining area.
8:30 Buses and van return with people they have picked up-Food is served. Guests will go through line…
Serve coffee/refills, talk /chat.
9:00 Ministry begins ALL FOOD/DRINK SERVICE STOPS! GUESTS DO NOT LEAVE ROOM. Help focus their attention on the message.
9:30 Ministry complete! Greeters line hallways down to front entrance. Thank guests for coming!
9:45 Buses leave to return people to pick up site - Clean-up crew begins.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Oklahoma is the 4th hungriest state in the nation with 15.9% of families considered "food insecure." Our goal through this project is to provide 500 homes (estimated to include over 1,200 children) with a complete meal and a message of love and hope that can only be found in Jesus.

One in five Oklahoma children goes to bed hungry. Not tonight.

Not tonight. 02.27.10 Project Orders

1. Please plan to arrive no later than 10:00am. Check in at the park shelter and get your t-shirt.

2. Dress appropriately for spending time in the weather conditions for that day.

3. Lunch will be provided before we leave.

4. You will be given a t-shirt to wear. T-shirts are intended to be worn over your clothing so they are easily seen and recognizable. All t-shirts will be returned at the end of the day. Everyone MUST wear a Walls Optional t-shirt while working.

5. Children 5-12 years old MUST remain with their parent(s)/grandparent(s) AT ALL TIMES. Childcare for birth-4 years will be provided at the church.

6. Be prayed up before you arrive.
